Dr. Aherrera is a renowned practitioner and has over 25 years of Obstetrics & Gynecology specialization in the Philippines’ premier medical institutions with private practice in the following sub-specialties: Aesthetic Gynecology, Cosmetic Vulvovaginal Gynecology, Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Gynecologic Endoscopy, Perinatology and Climacteric Medicine.

She graduated from the UP College of Medicine and completed her residency training in OB-GYN at the Makati Medical Center under the eminent, Dr, Constantino P. Manahan. Dr. Aherrera was trained by pioneers in surgical and non-surgical aesthetic vaginal gynecology and cosmetic vulvovaginal procedures.

​Dr. Aherrera is a Fellow of the Philippine Obstetrical & Gynecologic Society (POGS). Dr. Aherrera is the first hospital-based, board-certified gynecologist to provide aesthetic gynecologic procedures. Dr. Aherrera practices in both Makati Medical Center and The Medical City.

Dr. Aherrera was trained by renowned gynecologist Dr. David L. Matlock, founder and Director of the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of America (LVRIA) in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California. Dr. Aherrera is an Associate of LVRIA. Dr. Matlock pioneered Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation® and Designer Laser Vaginoplasty®​.

Dr. Aherrera was also trained by renowned urogynecologist, Dr. Red Alinsod, founder and director of the Alinsod Institute of Aesthetic Vulvovaginal Surgery (AIAVS) in Laguna Beach, California. Dr. Aherrera is a member of AIAVS.
